LEXIE ROTH is the daughter of Arlen Roth and his late wife, Deborah. She has been playing music since she was about 8 years old, and has become quite an accomplished guitarist, even though she started out on bass guitar. She played in several bands in her developing years on both bass and guitar, and was always the featured vocalist. Currently she is finishing up writing material for her second album which she will begin recording soon.....Now words from Lexie herself. My dad and I are collaborating as much as time allows us to and I am writing up a storm and excitedly awaiting recording my new album. LEXIE ROTH is Arlen Roth's youngest daughter. His first child, Gillian, was lost, along with his wife, Deborah in a car accident in 1998. Lexie has handled the difficulties and tragedies in life with incredible poise and strength, and has chanelled much of this grief and life experience into her music. Her new cd, "One Long Blink" is evidence of this, and is perhaps one of the most moving works ever created by a teenage girl. Her own tunes reflect her deep feelings and memories about her sister and mother, and working closely with her father, has produced a true work of art. Her voice, and her songwriting are literally impossible to categorize. Her sound is completely new and fresh, and simply is all her own.
