LEXIE ROTH is Arlen Roth's youngest daughter. His first child, Gillian, was lost, along with his wife, Deborah in a car accident when Gillian was just 14 years old, and Lexie was just 10. Lexie has handled the difficulties and tragedies in life with incredible poise and strength, and has chanelled much of this grief and life experience into her music. Her new cd, "One Long Blink" is evidence of this. Her own tunes reflect her deep feelings and memories about her sister and mother, and working closely with her father, has produced a true work of art. Her voice, and her songwriting not only belie her tender years, but are literally impossible to categorize. Her sound is completely new and fresh, and simply is all her own.
